A life of self-interest for you to enjoy,
Because I am willing, to give of the world,
more than I own, for you to destroy.

I know you've spent time, a while at least,
Allowing yourself, to be released,
And while that's not bad, it can be said,
That all of your thoughts are still in your head.

Because of the time you've spent locked in the dark,
It's endless words on which you've left your mark,
For words are just thoughts, and thoughts, it is known,
Are something, and nothing, but darks of your own.

But words are just words, and thoughts are the same,
Neither has a world, or lover, or name,
Their purpose is speech, with oneself or another,
Word and thought are two of two, like a brother and a brother,
And so their purpose is threefold, for they are the other's brother,
They are the lover, and the mother.

Folded in thought's loving arms, like a child to a breast,
Word then started wanting more, and has become a wanton whore,
It abandons thought these days, and does what it perceives as best.
Leaving loving brother-mother, it is dumb, and fails the test.

And without word, thought's might is squandered,
Watching, helpless, as it's slandered,
By the very word who called it mother,
By it's vicious lover-brother,
And now it has become the other.

Furious battle rages on, they fight to sing the other's song,
Brother-mother love is gone, and they will not get along,
Maybe someday in the future, the feud of word and thought will end,
And though the bond they share is ruined, then they may again be friends.
